Consensus 2025: Swan Chain’s Roadmap Unveiled

On May 14th, Swan Chain took center stage at Consensus 2025 in Toronto, unveiling its 2025 Roadmap with a major BNB Chain integration. The event featured an impressive lineup of industry leaders, including:

• Charles Cao, Founder of Swan Chain
• Carson Farmer, Head of Research at Recall Network

Ecosystem & Community Growth

The T-Rize campaign officially closed on May 21st, marking another milestone in Swan Chain’s mission-driven ecosystem.

Partnerships & Collaborations

Swan Chain strengthened its DePIN and AI ecosystem with new partnerships, including Lilypad Tech, expanding decentralized computing capabilities.

Swan Chain also integrated with Titannet_dao, a smarter data distribution for Decentralized Compute, which upgrades Swan’s infrastructure by combining IPFS with Titan’s distributed storage and CDN.

Infrastructure Updates

Ethereum “Pectra” Upgrade & Temporary Maintenance

On May 7th, Swan Chain underwent temporary maintenance to align with Ethereum’s mainnet upgrade “Pectra”, scheduled at epoch 364032 (~10:00 AM UTC). The upgrade was successfully completed in just 4 hours, ensuring seamless network operations.

Optimized Provider Rate Parameters on Parasail

To enhance delegation requests for Swan Chain Computing Providers (CPs), we’ve optimized Parasail’s provider rate parameters:

• Higher Target Utilization: Increased from 80% to 90%, reducing provider rates from 90% to 70% at target utilization.
• Lower Maximum Rate: At maximum pool utilization, rates were reduced from 200% to 150%.

Mission 3.0 Update

Mission 3.0 has officially launched its updated website, bringing a fresh design, improved features, and an enhanced user experience.

SWAN Token & Economic Model

The SWAN token continues to power decentralized AI computing, incentivizing real participants and aligning long-term ecosystem growth. Swan Chain introduces Universal Basic Intelligence (UBI) to reward honest computing providers and participants, shifting the means of production from centralized control to community-powered infrastructure.

By combining token utility, reputation, and identity, Swan Chain ensures fair distribution and sustainable engagement in AI and DePIN markets.

Product Progress:

Mission 3：

• Support Multichain Mission Pass (BNB & Swan): Users who purchase the $4 Mission Pass license can now mint on both Swan and BNB chains — pay once, access everywhere.
• Support for a new type of the task: Mission can now generate tweets for users to post on X. After posting, users can submit the tweet URL back to the Mission to earn points.

Xpress:

• Optimized the cue words to make the generated tweets more precise and more like the user’s tone of voice.
• Refactored the back-end code and logic to make AI generation faster, across some conditional restrictions.

Computing Provider Enhancements

• Optimized Order Download & Retry Mechanism: Improved the reliability of order reception by refining the download and retry logic. This ensures that both UBI and AI tasks are properly received and executed by computing providers.
• Reduced Gas Usage for UBI Task Submissions: Updated the submission process for UBI tasks to lower gas consumption, improving overall efficiency and reducing costs for computing providers.

ZK Engine & ZK Sequencer Developments

• Integration with Titian Network for Decentralized Storage and CDN: Successfully integrated the Titian network’s decentralized storage and content delivery solution. This enhancement accelerates global distribution of UBI tasks and ensures that computing providers worldwide can reliably download tasks.
• Optimized Gas Cost Estimation for ZK Task Aggregation: Refined the gas calculation logic used during ECP ZK task aggregation. The new logic accounts for edge cases, ensuring more accurate and efficient gas usage even under extreme conditions, thereby reducing gas costs for computing providers in such scenarios.
