Swan Chain January Monthly Report

--

January was a month of significant milestones for Swan Chain, with growing token distributions, partnerships, new features for CPs, and the official launch of SwanFi. The ecosystem is scaling rapidly, and these developments are setting the stage for continued growth and innovation throughout 2025.

Community Progress

SwanFi and Staking Initiatives

SwanFi Official Launch
SwanFi launched on January 6, 2025, enabling smarter staking and reward management. The platform offers innovative liquidity staking protocols that retain liquidity while providing a hassle-free staking experience.

SwanFi OP Reward Pool Launch

SwanFi introduced an OP Reward Pool, designed to incentivize SWAN token holders by rewarding them with OP tokens.

  • Staking SWAN tokens on SwanFi allows users to earn OP tokens, with rewards adjusted based on TVL growth and performance.
  • Maximum daily reward distribution capped at 625 OP tokens.

Decentralized Computing Ecosystem Growth

Over 2 Million SWAN Tokens Distributed in UBI
A major milestone was achieved with the distribution of over 2 million SWAN tokens through the Universal Basic Income (UBI) program. With daily rewards between 50K-60K SWAN tokens, UBI ensures sustainable incentives for Computing Providers (CPs), supporting Swan Chain’s growing decentralized network.

Surpassing 3 Million SWAN in CP Collateral
Swan Chain has now surpassed 3 million SWAN tokens in CP collateral, indicating a growing trust and larger participant base in the network. More collateral means more CPs joining, which directly contributes to the expansion of the decentralized computing network.

Network Growth and CP Onboarding

  • Real-time CP network status can be tracked here.
  • Deployment guides for new CPs available here.

New CP Resource Detection Mechanism

Upgraded Resource Detection
A new CP resource detection mechanism was introduced on January 17, which includes multi-GPU detection and verification of multiple CPs running on the same machine.

  • Read more about this New Resource Detection here.

Swan Chain Dashboard Updates
Swan Chain’s Provider Dashboard(https://provider.swanchain.io) was updated to include:

  • Collateral status indicators (required, current, insufficient).
  • Enhanced CP status displays for better monitoring.
  • A new “Sibyl” tag to identify multiple CPs on the same machine.

Partnerships and Collaborations

Swan Chain x SoloChain Partnership
Swan Chain has partnered with SoloChain to tokenize Swan Chain’s assets and provide GPU resources for SoloChain’s Agentic DePIN Mining Chain.

Parasail Integration
Swan Chain has integrated with Parasail, allowing SWAN token holders to stake and manage their liquidity with enhanced security and efficiency.

Product Progress

SwanFi

  • Successfully launched
  • Multiple upgrades to SwanFi frontend to ensure smooth operation and proper display.
  • Updated wallet connection plugins and web3 plugins to ensure website security.
  • Optimized for mobile devices and resolved the issue of abnormal OP reward display for users.

Orchestrator

  • Optimized and upgraded Sample to ensure fair and equitable distribution of UBI
  • Added support for user-defined configurations in Orchestrator, allowing users to select their own configurations for more diverse and enriched choices
  • Added multiple information APIs to provide necessary data support for Provider dashboard

Computing Provider

  • Released v1.0.2, optimized task list display, improved application log retention and deletion mechanism
  • Optimized “mining task” status display to clearly show current task completion status
  • Optimized CP deployment application log retention and scheduled cleaning mechanism to help CPs troubleshoot potential issues with their deployed applications
  • Added “rejected” status tasks to the task list for easy calculation and viewing of task success rates
  • Upgraded “resource-exporter” with new GPU index/uuid and related metrics collection to prepare for future mechanism upgrades

Swan Provider Dashboard

  • Added collateral status to CP profile page, making it convenient for CPs to check their current staking status
  • Added CP status to CP profile page for users to easily check current CP online status
  • Upgraded CP data statistics criteria to use online CP data as baseline, allowing users to view real-time network-wide online CP resource data

UBI Engine & ZK-Sequencer

  • Improved ECP resource detection mechanism, added “sibyl” status to promote genuine resource contribution from CPs
  • Added ECP multi-GPU detection mechanism for more accurate verification of multi-GPU ECP resource online status
  • Fully integrated KMS system to enhance system security

UBI-Server

  • Optimized network-wide effective CP determination rules, using sufficient staking as the basic criterion for valid CU
  • Added determination of “sibyl” CPs as invalid CU, making them ineligible for UBI rewards
  • Fully integrated KMS system to enhance UBI incentive system security
