Guide | How to Claim Your Computing Provider Account on Swan Chain
Swan Chain has recently launched a new feature on the provider dashboard(https://provider.swanchain.io) that allows Computing Providers (CPs) to claim and verify their accounts. This process grants CPs a verified status, indicated by a blue checkmark next to their account name.
Here’s why you should claim your account, how to do it, and how it can benefit your project’s visibility.

Step-by-Step Guide to Claiming Your Account
Follow these steps to claim and verify your CP account:
- Access Your CP Profile
- Visit https://provider.swanchain.io/overview
- Enter your contract address(also known as your CP account address) to locate your CP profile
2. Initiate the Claim Process
- Click on the “Claim Account” button located on the right side of your CP account address
3. Verify Your Identity
- In the pop-up window, confirm your owner address and CP account
4. Provide Account Information
- Enter your preferred account name: This can be your organization/company name or any name you choose and it will be displayed on your CP profile and in the ECP/FCP lists
- Enter your email address: This is for Swan Chain official use only, you’ll receive important code updates and emergency notifications here
5. Sign the Verification Code
- Access your computing provider
- Copy the command listed under “Sign Code”
- Paste and execute this command in your terminal
- Your node will generate a signature in response
6. Submit the Signature
- Copy the signature generated by your node
- Paste it into the “Signature” field in the pop-up window
- Click “Submit”
After successful submission, you’ll see your newly claimed account name with a blue “V” (verification mark) next to your CP account. This verified status will also be displayed in the CP list.

After successfully claiming your account:
- Maintain High Performance: Keep working on improving your reputation score. A high score next to a recognizable name is a powerful combination.
- Engage with the Community: Use your verified status as a springboard to engage more actively in the Swan Chain ecosystem. Share your expertise, offer support, and build relationships.
