Until now, we have held several campaigns for the Data DAO Hackathon, including 1) Hackathon AMA for the Chinese community, 2) Hackathon AMA on Twitter Space, 3) Hackathon Meetup, as well as other promotional activities. Currently, 110 teams have registered for our Data DAO Hackathon, among which 31 teams have already submitted their projects on Dorahacks.

We held an AMA with different sub-themes from Aug 10 to Aug 12 and introduced and demonstrated the MCS to members of the Chinese community.

💬 Data DAO Hackathon AMA (on Twitter Space)
The AMA was hosted on Aug 19, 2022, at 11:00 EDT and attracted more than 50 listeners. 4 speakers from FilSwan and Protocol Labs specifically introduced and explained the rules for the 5 tracks of the Data DAO Hackathon. Additionally, the rules for the Hackathon prizes were indicated and questions were asked. If you have other questions, please chat with us on our Discord.
- Rule for Prizes
- Submitting the same project across multiple hackathons will lead to disqualification.
- Only projects or features (preferably in separate branches) built specifically for the respective hackathon will be considered for prizes.
- Broken links may disqualify the project from the judging process.
2. AMA Q&A:
- Can we use the smart contract deployed in the previous hackathon? Depends on the Tracks criteria. Join our Discord to discuss the details with mentors.
- How will the prize be distributed? Based on the track’s bounties completed per the hackathon website + competitiveness between submissions.
- Can we submit multiple projects? Yes, you can if you have multiple ideas. Or if you are building on multiple tracks.

🎉Data DAO Hackathon Meetup
On Aug 12th, 17:00–19:00, FilSwan organized a Hackathon face-to-face meetup for Hackathon participants, university students, startups, Web3 curious, and network builders at LOCO Space Lounge, 15 Wellesley Street West #Unit 201, Toronto, ON M4Y 0G7. We offered networking, mentorship, Coffee & pizza, and PoP NFTs for our audience. We’re glad to have almost 20 people join us and hope everyone enjoyed our sharing.
