Chainlink Labs Fireside Chat With FilSwan
BUILDing cross-chain decentralized storage
We are excited to announce that Charles Cao, the Founder of FilSwan, recently joined the Chainlink Montreal Community for a fascinating fireside chat on March 16th, 2023. The conversation focused on the intricacies of building a cross-chain decentralized storage and computing solution.
The event was expertly moderated by Stephen Edvi, and hosted by Bilal Sanchez, Co-Founders of Incubella and Web3Montreal. We were thrilled to have such knowledgeable and experienced individuals leading the discussion. The event was a huge success. We had about 100 registrations and over 70 attendees joined us for this informative and engaging conversation.
During the fireside chat, Charles Cao shared his inspiring stories of starting the company and how Chainlink technology and the Chainlink community have played an instrumental role in its success.
Charles shared his experiences starting FilSwan, a cross-chain decentralized storage and compute solution making waves in the industry. He discussed how his team tackled interoperability, scalability, and security challenges to create a solution that developers and users can trust.
He introduced how FilSwan integrated Chainlink Price Feeds on Polygon mainnet which helps ensure the most accurate market rates when storing data on multichain.storage platform, a key product of FilSwan. This will help provide our users with globally accurate fair market rates when paying for multi-chain storage.
Charles also introduced how Chainlink’s decentralized oracle network provided FilSwan with a reliable and secure way to connect with different blockchain networks. As part of Chainlink BUILD, FilSwan receives access to new Chainlink product alpha and beta releases, dedicated technical support from the Chainlink ecosystem, and more. Chainlink Labs supports FilSwan’s building of a highly scalable, secure, and efficient cross-chain decentralized storage and compute solution.
The event also included a networking session where attendees could connect with each other and exchange ideas and insights. The conversation was lively and informative, with many questions from the audience on topics ranging from the technical details of FilSwan to business operations. We were impressed by the Montreal community’s engagement level and the insightful questions raised.
